But I will say, one thing I don't like about USBands is that the class champion will advance to finals regardless of placement. This means that some bands that are finals worthy will be forced to miss out because of this. It happened at USBands Burleson last year when Parkway and Lamar didn't make finals, but Everman and Westwood did. It should really be like other local and BOA contests which the class champions that doesn't qualify for finals perform in exhibition instead of just steal a finalist spot.

Yes - it is going to be a thing. I spoke with the designer this past week and submitted my concept. they are working to create a design in the next 10 days or so that we can submit to MFA/BOA for approval to produce it. it is looking good that this will happen and be ready prior to the 2023 BOA-SA Super Regional.

For me it was getting out afterward that was horrible… literally an hour to get out of the parking lot- even after visiting with friends afterward when we thought the traffic would ease up afterwards.

Those down at the Bedford regional may have something to say about that. I would personally agree with you on this, but I would say the dfw regional is also extremely high in quality, especially these past or so years.
