I am likely to attend this year. Living 1.5 hours away from Indianapolis has this benefit at least!

I don't think I've done my predictions for this area yet so I'm going to give it a shot: 1. Marcus 2. Hebron 3. Flower Mound 4. Prosper 5. Wylie 6. Wylie East 7. McKinney Boyd 8. Rock Hill 9. Braswell 10. Plano East Possible other finalists: Mckinney Lewisville Byron Nelson Plano Sheesh, this is going to be brutal. When you only have 4 state spots and 3 of them are going to the very best of the best, essentially everyone else is fighting for a single spot. Really, the last spot can also go to any of the Wylies or Boyd. As for the other spots, it's gonna be war. But I think one down side to creating a 3rd area in north tx is making it even more difficult to advance to state. Area B also has this issue, but it's much more noticeable here than there. And one thing I'm definitely going to miss about having only 2 areas is the insane competition and more state positions.

I’d have McKinney in over East and Braswell, seeing how they did last season and the upward trend of MISD bands, and I’d probably have Byron in as well, if they continue off their momentum from last season but yeah this is my list as well.

Not an awful stadium, just not the level of McKinney/Prosper and yeah it will be very easy to get the bands on and off the field, if they still do a full retreat. I’m pretty sure Area C was the only one to do it, so it could possibly just be a DM retreat.

I really hope so, but now All of our Texas giants won’t be missing SA this year because of grand bars besides Bridgeland and Cedar Park/leander and few others.

Recommended site is Little Elm stadium, honestly kind of disappointed it ended up being this stadium, mainly because theres not really a ton of space to hold every band here, and the humidity in this area is generally pretty high It does have its perks over Mesquite though, the design is way more open which I personally prefer as a performer since sound just projects outwards and doesnt reverb very much (Prosper/McKinney stadiums do this on some level), and finals retreat will be much easier to get every band on and off the field
