Oh man, you have no idea how excited I am to see y'all perform! As someone who wants to major in music (and hopefully at Baylor), it will be an absolute joy to see the Baylor Golden Wave Band, regardless of whether we make finals or not. I have no words- I'm just super excited! (also sorry if my grammar sucks I just took my STAAR test today and I am BRAINDEAD lol)

Hey, y'all! Here's to respond to y'all's comments: Our show this year is going to be veryyy different (like not like our usual shows different). It's a show we've been visually and musically wanting to do for a long time. When the show is actually revealed and worked on at the end of May (we have a end of year preview camp), I will tell y'all what it's about. But, I have a lot of hope for this show and I hope y'all enjoy our 2025-2026 show just as much as I will!

Incase anyone was curious, Dickinson just released their fall football schedule! As a Dickinson student myself, the more I look at this the more it makes me want to cry

Bro it’s soooo hard to predict Azle bc they always do so well at local comps/boa but then can’t ever make state 😭 like idk what it is but it feels like every year they have a chance and then don’t make it

I’m really rooting for Grapevine I think they are a real underdog. But other than them it’s a battle between BC and Aledo

Yeah SLC is another example of inconsistency. Took them 3 years to get back to state after advancing in 2021. In 2022 they must've had a rough prelims performance with them getting 12th but then losing to Dville in the tie breaker. And then last year, they tied with KC for 7th and would've made state based on prelims results but fell short in finals. It'll be interesting to see if they keep a sense of consistency as well.

I would finally love to see a BOA San Antonio winner finally face off against vs Carmel and avon at grand nats too. I think the last time the BOA San antonio winner attended at Grand nats was 2013 (Woodlands). They ended up winning nats, hmm?? 🤔 I wish we could see the very best band from Texas vs Avon, carmel, and BA every year!

Better yet, I'd love for Avon and Carmel to come on down to San Antonio in the same year, and see how they measure up against ALL the top Texas bands.

Does anyone happen to know what’s happening at Waxahachie? I noticed their head director position was posted to the TMEA website. Of all the changes so far in Area C, this could potentially be the biggest change yet.
