Sorry you're having trouble with it, I'm not sure why this is happening. Could you try to log out and then back in? I made a change yesterday that should have made it "remember" logins between the forums and the rest of the site.

Understood - if you add the contests (http://www.txbands.com/predict/public_addevent.php) for each category we'll post them and see how it works!

We have tried this in the past, but the issue is contests with like this (and any other competitions with divisions/classes) don't really fit our scoring model. Predictions is based on correctly predicting the rankings, but it is hard when the contest is divided into marching, standstill, etc categories. If you have suggestions on how we can accommodate that, we're glad to!

Working on getting all the area contests added right now. They should be up within the hour. We input scores with what we can find (some contests take more work). I'll look through everything this evening and see what can be entered.

Hi everyone! We recently created this forum, which was suggested by a member. I am honestly not sure why we didn't think of this before - I know we have a ton of band parents contributing all over our site, so why not make a special place for you all to discuss everything relating to being a band parent (the best kind of parent!) Hi Gina, Sorry, it does get slow around here in the off season! I think a parents forum is a great idea. When we first started out it was almost 100% student and alumni, but we definitely have a lot of parents visiting the site now. We'll see what we can do to get something set up soon. Thanks! Alex
