Wow no wonder your name is "rudeone." That post was not an attack on other schools. I was just stating that our show may have been too complex for our own good, but we did our best and enjoyed performing it.

Just to clarify, I am not bitter at all about how we did, on the contrary; I am extremely proud of how well we performed.

I guess since you are going down this road I will also. We (Friendswood) decided not to play the "game" with our show this year. We went all out - with 98 sets, there isn't much time to stand around and relax. And maybe that is why we did not win - our show was not as easy to clean as other shows.

Congratulations on your first state finals appearance, Dawson! I know those of us at Friendswood were a little surprised that you guys were not higher up.

I think every band took risks this year because we all knew the competition was going to be really tough.

Friendswood and Dawson represented Area F well. I also was surprised by Vandegrift's finals placement - I figured they would finish in the top 5. This was definitely a really exciting contest and probably the toughest 4A contest ever.

Hi everyone. I am new to txbands, but I wanted to create an account to say that "Thomas" does not represent Friendswood in any way. Also, no one I have talked to has any idea who he is. Sorry for any trouble he (or she?) has caused.
