Not sure if I'd put Hays in place of Leander, they play pretty strong as well.

Usually 4-5 in 4A, depends on how many advance from region to area. It's 1 state advancer per area participant. 2011 had 24 area participants making for 4 advancers.

At Festival of Bands, saw everyone backfield...my rankings for LISD (with appropriate bias to my school) 1. Vandegrift 2. Cedar Park 3. Vista RIdge 4. Leander 5. Rouse Vandegrift is on fire this year.

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I think it'd be a great idea if threads of specific schools were kept. All shows/rankings would be posted and kept and broken down and deliberated there. An example would be [AREA D][4A] Vista Ridge 2013 <show synopsis> <special notes> <staff(?)> <show :trailer"> And each subsequent post would be show videos, and discussion of that show and program's progression throughout the season (and that school only; other bands that may closely compete can be discussed as well) Yay/Nay?
