No, that just show that going first or "early" in a BOA contest generaly lowers your score from prelims or semi-finals to finals.

Congrats to broken arrow.... but, i still think the woodlands should have won. Call me bias because i use to go there, but still, they deserved better than 4th. They were hurt by going first.

Wow. LD Bells finish was awsome. Their Drill was a little unclean, but still, they were amazing. Avons Drill was awsome. They have such a big battery. 9 snares, 5 tenors, and 6 bass. so big. Carmels show was a lot less interisting than the others but it was still really good.

LD Bell did amazing. Their drill was a little messy at times, but altogether it was amazing. I think LD Bell and the woodlands both will make top 3

TS was good. Very good sound. But i dont like the fact that they dont have a battery.

The Woodlands got 1st in prelims. Then Avon, Then LD Bell. The Woodlands, LD Bell, Bowie, And Churchill all made it to finals.

The Woodlands HS got 1st in semi. Then its Avon from IN, and then LD Bell got 3rd. This is crazy. Woodlands preforms in about an hour and a half. They have to go first.

Thats the way the money rolls. You just gotta stop complaining and get over it.

Ive got my reasons, but im not going to put them up becuase i dont wanna sound like the "whinny stuck up kid". Thats just how i feel.

To be honest i really dont care. CP is going to this event to get to fianls and get a top spot.

Some kid, sorry to be stern, but this comment was point less and you just made our band sound like were a bunch of whiny stuck up kids. I don't know about you, but i don't want to live up to the reputation that people give kids from the woodlands (the community, not the HS) of being stuck up assholes. Leave something more intelligent next time. And to the whole homecoming thing, yes, that sucked, and yes if your a Jr or Sr then it was your last time to go to state, but if your a Jr like i think you are, you have homecoming next year. I highly doubt that your a Sr seeing as we only have 6 in the band. Homecoming isn't that big of a deal. Yes it sucks that we lost because of a few bias judges, but really, it wasn't all a big waste. You obviously don't know how many bands don't make it to area. There's a lot. And then even more don't make it to finals at area. Yes we got in by the skin of our teeth, but we still made it. And on top of all that, how many band programs can say that they made it that far on their second year? Not many. Ill tell you right now that i think we got cheated on Saturday, but don't go make whiney post on the internet. You aren't cool, your aren't making a point, and it is really, really annoying. You can be mad all you want, but really, your not proving a single thing. So please, don't do that again. You make CP's reputation more like The woodlands by doing that (again, the community as a whole and not the woodlands HS).

GN starts on thursday not wednesday. it always has. 2 years ago the woodlands did both State and GN, so im pretty sure that other bands can do it. Not only am i pretty sure, im positive that they can do it.

The woodlands has to go up to SA this weekend for SR and then back up for state, then the day they get back from state (they will be getting to their school around 130) they leave for GN and are expected to go to school.

I hate going first at Contests. We have a tough schedule the next few day. Yeasterday we didnt pratice long because it rained out our pratice. Today, we get out there, and we have to go over our homecoming show for tomorrow. Then it starts to rain again, so we dont have half our instruments on the feild and the drums sound like crap. Then it starts lightning and were told to go in. then we go back out 30 minutes later beacuse that was the soonest that were allowed to go back out, and 5 minutes later, it starts back up, so we only got about 30-45 good minutes of pratice today. Tomorrow we have our homecoming game so were gonna be out till about 11, then we have to be at our school at 6 in the morning to get to Gelena Park because were first. I hate this weather, has it screw anyone elses pratices for this contest up?
