They haven't won state since my freshman year and it looks like they have chance of doing it again.
  2. I'm definitely thinking Maverick is a phony. The most The Cavaliers will ever practice on a non-show day is 12 hours. On show days we practiced as little as 3-4 hours sometimes.

    I know I'm a little late on this thread, but this piece of information here is completely wrong. The Cavaliers (and probably BD) probably rehearse the least amount of any corps. During pre-tour, we went to a movie/mall basically every Sunday and we had 5 or 6 free days during the summer. I got to hang out NYC, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Chicago, and San Antonio this past summer. The Cavaliers are good because of efficient rehearsal techniques, great staff, and talented kids. The Cadets is the corps you are thinking of.
