Anyone else feel like Hebron's preformance time in finals also kept them from winning in finals? I mean I know it's a new set of judges and all but how do you drop 1.6 points in 4-5 hours? I had the privilege of witnessing both semis and finals performances from the stands and Hebron's finals run seemed so much cleaner visually and musically they were just flawless. BA really stepped it up in finals but I wasn't expecting the gap between them to be over a whole point! The preformance time must have played a factor in Hebron's low visual score which is what cost them the Eagle.

I'm not trying to take anything from Flower Mound, I think they did an absolutely stunning job, but I think they've almost peaked with their show because it looked mostly complete last night, and I think both Hebron and Marcus have more show to add so by the time San Antonio comes I strongly believe that they will overtake FloMo. I also noticed that the point gap in finals between Hebron and FloMo was only .1 but the gap between Hebron and Marcus was over a whole point! Being there live I thought Marcus sounded beautiful and that I think that the top 3 should have been a lot closer. Hebron sounded absolutely gorgeous and had the whole audience on their feet at the end of the tenor sax solo and I think if they just had more show on the field or if they could have cleaned the part after the solo they would have definitely taken the top spot. I was also just as surprised as everyone else when Hebron took the visual caption (jumping a whole point from prelims) and I believe that may have been more important than winning because it shows that they realize their problem areas and are capable of fixing it. If they can keep improving like this I think they'll have a legitimate chance at the Eagle this year at Grand Nationals.

I believe visuals will make or break this show. If they can pull of clean coordinated visuals they will be a very strong contender for the championship this Saturday. They'll also need to add more of their show but I'm confident that they are already doing that. These early October contests really set the stage for the end of the season so if Hebron can pull of the win this Saturday I think they'll have a very good chance at making top 5 at Nats

So I did some stalking and I came across multiple things on Twitter from this past weekends contest about Hebron. It's mostly all talk about the tenor solo in the ballad which makes me even more impatient for this Saturday.

Do you think they'll out do Marcus again this year at the DFW BOA contest?

Anyone have any info on Hebron's show? I've heard some chatter about the ballad and I know they sweeped the TOC contest but I haven't seen their show yet
