haha, my bad. i was gonna yell too but i didn't exactly knew where it was.. so i didn't want to look like a loser and yell it early.

awh, dang. i could've introduced myself. i was wearing a crossmen show shirt with a red headband and a knee brace (band camp is killing 'em knees.)

which theater did you go to? nobody, but one guy yelled it twice at the one i went to.

aghh! i have two friends in crossmen and two friends in madison scouts. i was pushing for crossmen but i guess at least half of my drum corps friends made it to finals. but still, aghh!

we finshed our opener yesterday, and marched and played music to it today. next week, we are gonna learn the second movement. this is the first year we had all of drill finished during summer band. good luck to everyone!

well, thats understandable. man, this year we are marching 112 winds. which is big for us. last year, we only marched 76 winds. 50 outta of the 112 winds are rookies. its gonna be tough but i know we can do it.

w00t! i can't wait for tomorrow! hopefully, i'll get to see my drum corps' friends on screen. my friend, amanda (trumpet) is in crossmen and most of her sets are in front due to her amazing footwork. she says all the cameras are usually at her face! wahooooooo.

really? we are already 22 sets into our opener. for the first time, we have all of our show drill done.

well, the freshmen are alright. jsut need alot of work. and i found out that i'm part of a duet in our show. which makes it even better

lol. we have band camp too. but it ends at 4. so.. i'll be at the theaters in my marching clothes all sweatyy. haha.

Its on August 7 and it starts at 5PM. Who's all going? I already have tickets reserved and I am going to the one on Webb Chapel, the regular theater. Hopefully, I'll see some of ya'll there!

band today

man.. my friend in crossmen told me that they hadd a really good show today and it started raining in the middle of their performance! but too bad they didn't get scoredd. it would've helped them.

i haven't gotten my etude book yet. so i dont know what the bass trombone etudes are like. but hopefully, i can repeat last year and make area. and maybe state.. its just gonna take alot of work. but i have my all region jazz etudes but i suck at jazz. so haha. yep.

our show is based on cirque du soleil's "quidam". i'm excited and band starts on thursday!

due to unseen circumstances, we have a new show noww! Our theme is "Music of Cirque du Soleil."

we hired a new assistant director. his name is andy rein. he came from vines and plano senior high schools. he holds a masters degree in bass trombone performance. and a bachelors degree in music education. he seems cool.

no, it wasn't. we wanted to try something new this year. and instead of buying pre made shows. we try making our own and have an original made for uss.

yeah. hopefully. its just really lamee. i'm just glad i was randomly browsing youtube and found the other band's show.

we THOUGHT the guy who was writing our music was ACTUALLY writing it. cause it was gonna be all original. but he actually ripped it off of another band. and gave it to us pretending to be original. and i found out and immediately told my band director. and he listened to the other band's show. and you know the end.
