Raymondville EC's flute soloist was incredible - that was such a fun show!

I think the updated scoring sheets and rubrics do help for more consistent numbers throughout the day.

They’ve gotten 1s the past few years. New director but they looked good at Mesquite early season. Here’s hoping they get it done.

Last year everyone but Quinlan and Mabank made 1s. 2022 they all made 1s. So definitely possible.

Same on both counts. They seem to have laid low but WP has had some of my favorite 4a shows over the years. Wish them the best.

Saw them in Celina - good soloists and a decent show. I don’t know that it is a state package but could make area finals.

I think you are pretty much guaranteed three bands from Region 3 to make 1s with the potential for 7. Not really familiar with the Region 9 groups.

I agree with TexasStrangers - this is a hard show to predict with Farmersville having such an early slot (are they doing two shows?) and the 5A/6As in the mix. Will be a fun day of bands, though!

After seeing Kennedale this past weekend, I'd definitely put them back in the mix for a state contender from Area B.

I grew up in Pinellas County and my niece went through their guard program so I’ve been a fan for a long time. My favorite WG shows are The Farmer, NY2 and this year Origin of Cool. Such an innovative program.
