One and a half hours of our practice got rained out today. We were supposed to do a runthrough of the second movement, just like we were saturday, but that got rained out too. The dang weather doesn't like our show this year, apparently.

I beg to differ. Spring isn't using tenors this year, and its working out really good so far.

I voted bass. I'm completely biased though. I do prefer bass anyways though, because bass is all about chops and brains, you don't have all these flashy stick tricks and arounds that snares and tenors have. Of course, a good drumline smokes without having all that stuff. Chops, not props. That's my overall stance.

Spring isn't doing any sort of BOA activity this year. Dangit! We are doing the Katy ISD Marching Contest on October 14th, Lone Star on October 21st and UIL.

Westfield High School (aka Spring High South) is Spring's rival. It's a friendly rivalry though. One of those sister school ones.

Ditto. While I will still support DCI and BOA, I wish their respective championships would come down to Texas every now and then. They act like its 120 degrees down here during the summer. Can't be more than 114.
