  1. Lux Aurumque is such an amazing peice...we played it at the Region 9 Wind Ensemble concert this year and it was the first time i had ever heard it. totally blew me away
  2. the rumor around the spring band hall (and its just a rumor) is a west side story theme. other than that, i havent heard anything
  3. I wouldnt mind TAKS too much if the rooms weren't 65 degrees

  5. I agree. Shows should consist of mainly chops, not props.
  6. The singing would be really cool, but i would like to hear some drumspeak as well, even if its only a few seconds. I'm a bit partial though, me being a drummer and all.

  9. I haven't been exposed to too much, but my top three peices that I've ever heard are: Lux Aurumque-Whitacre Morning Star-Maslanka Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity-Holst If anybody has some recordings of songs that I should hear, I would be glad to listen.

Mine are: Ferris Bueller's Day Off Monty Python(just like chickora, all of them) Fight Club(the book's also really good) Willy Wonka/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory(both of them) The Breakfast Club Star Wars V (in my opinion, the best one in the whole series) and that's all I can think of right now
