Cedar Park's second band is also playing Armenian Dances... I love it so far. We're also playing Irish Tune from County Derry by Grainger and Entry of the Gladiators by Fucik for our march. Darned low brass runs in the march.... we'd better get it together

yeah, i know how you feel. we got 20th, which was completley unexpected. i feel really bad for the woodlands, who got 15th, too. When they got the visual caption at grand nats after that.... man that must've been like "well what the heck happened at state?"

i kinda agree. they look really modern and cool, but their tshirts were showing through the white uni tops, which looked UBER tacky.... i like the green things though.

Is it worth it? I got the letter in the mail today, and I know it would look good on college stuff..... is it any good?

I would have to say our State Prelims warmup. Everyone was ON at 7:30 in the morning, like I've never seen the band before. We were on FIRE. And then we went on and had our best preformance of the season. Even though we didn't make finals, I saw the video and man, that was the best show I've ever seen out of our school. It's better than '04 Finals. AT 8:15 IN THE MORNING! Also, Westlake Finals. During the brass backfield chorale... it starts raining. It rains until we finish the closer, and then it stops. After we got results, we were all like "Who cares if we got 2nd? WE MADE GOD CRY!!!" It was intense.

I wish someone would post the streaming video url from BOA SA finals. I really really really wanna see a video of Cedar Park that wasn't filmed by a band parent from the top of the stands...

Not exactly that, but my 7th grade year I was the last chair to make region auditions, and then I got 6th chair out of 30 there.
