OK wait a minute.... I was wrong!! I looked on uilforms and saw that Timberview was listed as 4A and not 5A. After doing some research, Timberview is 5A and so that makes 12 from Region 5. So, if all bands get a 1 then there will be exactly 25 bands.

Actually Area B will only be sending 4 bands to state. Currently only 13 bands are going to area and not 14. Plano has decided not to go to Area contest this year. They are doing things differently this year. And there are only 11 bands that can advance in Region 5. Its not 12. Some schools that were 5A have gone down to 4A. So if every band in Region 5 get 1st divisions, there will be a total of 24. So Area B will miss it by one. Area B 1st Divisions: 13 Bands Going to Area....
