www.haswe.org The Houston Area Summer Wind Ensemble, or better known as HASWE, was born in the summer of 2004 at its home, Westfield High School in the north Houston 1960 area. Historically performing with over 70 students each year from the Spring, Klein and Cy-Fair School Districts, they conclude their summer with a celebratory concert held in the Westfield HS Performing Arts Center. We are extremely excited to be a part of THE EXSIGHTMENT OF SOUND!!! This has helped HASWE grow to encompass all of the Houston area. The camp is designed to give students in the Houston area an outlet to improve ensemble and performance skills and further their knowledge on their respective instruments as inexpensively as possible. The enrollment group is open to all incoming freshmen to recently graduated seniors. Also, new this year is the many distinguished private lesson teachers and band directors from the Houston area giving sectionals and instrument-specific master classes.
