As far as my own personal finals predictions- i think that John Horn will be in finals for sure, but otherwise there are no finals locks. Some groups I think have a shot at filling the last 4 spots are: Plano East Round Rock Cedar Park Vista Ridge Vandegrift Leander Richland

Silver and red are determined by the size of a drumline. If a group exceeds 20 people then they are in the silver division-if less than they are in the red division. Within both red and silver there are divisions 1 & 2, and this is determined based on skill level. Directors get to choose wether to compete in division 1 or 2 (1 being higher than 2). The marching division is seperate from the silver and red (standstill) divisions. Finals is the top 5 silver 1 standstill groups.

The contest schedule has been announced! Silver 1 looks like some steep competition! Any predictions?

I know that alot of the LISD groups are going to this contest- Cedar Park, Leander, Vista Ridge, Rouse, Vandegrift(?) How do you think these powerhouse bands drumline's will stack up with the other consistently strong lines? Also- if FlowerMound is in the marching division they will not be competing for a finals spot with Round Rock, Richland, John Horn, Leander, Cedar Park, etc.

Does anybody have a roster of which groups are going to be performing? Any soloist/finalist predictions?

Top 6 I believe will be(in no particular order) Hebron Leander The Woodlands Claudia Taylor Johnson James Bowie Marcus All of these bands will be in finals, almost guaranteed. The next 6 bands also in no particular order Flower Mound Cedar Park Round Rock Ronald Reagan LD Bell Vandegrift I believe the last 2 finals spots are up for grabs, some bands to look at would be Vista Ridge Richland Plano East Anderson Aledo Spring Friends wood
