I like how the suns and mavs situations kind of paralleled each other. Both teams trade away younger players with much more upside for older players who are past their prime. Both teams lose in the first round after winning only one game in the series. Both teams fire their coach within hours of each other.

Good bye Avery Johnson

Hopefully this is the last season Josh Howard plays in Dallas. This team needs a complete overhaul, starting with him.

It's not over yet, definitely. But after losing by 10 and 20 points in NO, I'm not very optimistic about our chances to win even one game there. Hopefully I'm wrong, but IMO losing even one game at home pretty much seals our fate. This team isn't playing with one ounce of passion or motivation right now, and really hasn't since that disaster in the 2006 finals you referred to, which I don't really feel is a good example to use for this series. No team has choked worse than Dallas in recent years (football and basketball), and NO seems like the real deal to me. Until this team proves me wrong I wont expect anything more than mediocrity.

Looks like another first round exit for the Mavs. If we lose one game at home, we're done.

Huge comeback win today @ Phoenix.

Maybe I'm just being pessimistic but this team appears to be completely falling apart. Losing three home games in a row should NEVER happen. Jason Kidd is a complete bust; he cant score, and his assists/ game have gone way down in the past few weeks. At the same time, Devin Harris is averaging career high numbers for New Jersey, and the absence of Diop as a post defender is painfully obvious. If Nowitzki's injury is as serious as it appears, I wouldn't count on even making the playoffs this year, and considering what we traded away for Kidd, the future doesn't look much better.

Wheres everybody going? I'm headed to Texas Tech next year.

Honestly this trade doesn't look that bad to me. Kidd is way better now than Devin Harris ever will be, and none of those other guys where that great either. The only thing that worries me is our depth at center now without Diop.

Third movement of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto... Rondo. -
Alot of that has to do with the fact that our directors mention this site quite often. I think thesnareguy and myself where the first two Hendrickson people to really start frequenting these forums.

Let me just say that its nothing as offensive as "lick my balls." It might be somewhat inappropriate but not to that degree. -

Easily the best team in the NFC right now... however there are a few teams in the AFC that are probably better

They have them for every instrument. They make recordings of all the etudes played by college professors, usually one recording at a slow tempo to help you learn it and then up to tempo to let you know what its supposed to sound like. Then they usually spend some time talking about the etudes and giving advice. Last year they were made by the Texas Tech professors.
