I made district on both flute and picc. but i still think i should've made region on piccolo. dammit. >

District Tryouts tomorrow. gosh. i'm NERVOUS/ EXCITED.

Yeah, we haven't started playing christmas music yet.... but we have started looking at concert stuff.... our BD is looking at The Sinfonians by Clifton Williams (awesome piccolo solo (: ) and We just looked at Courtly Airs and Dances. So yeah, should be interesting.

dedication is what kills us. you have the really dedicated people...and the ones who just dont care ...and just happen to show up which really hurts our band a lot. a few of them have control issues and don't like being told what to do...and others just dont care.

yeah. i'm not going to know who made finals until i get there . gosh.

gosh. i think i'm just going to go to finals que lastima.

i know we alter our show for BOA...i don't know why we even go..but we do. and its fun. so yeah. its tweaked just so we know it is.

yeah. i was thinking....if that was me....i'd kill myself(not really). just be really mad...for like...a while. but yeah. DUMB.

oh gosh. same thing here...i think 61 flutes tried out last year.....and like 59 the year before...and then you have to wait 50 billion years until results come out. URGH. but yeah. its so boring....especially because some people doon't know the music at all and are forced to be there or whatev.

basically...DUMB. there are a coupole in our band... the one in my section...just doesn care...doesn't go to rehearsal all the time.. drags on the field. URGH. if you don't want to be there....then don't come at all. fine with me.

our band boosters are dedicated....sure. but there are those freshman parents who think they know everything....and its dumb because after being there 3ish years compared to their 1/2 a year....you'd think they'd be more understanding to what the seniors say/do. but MOST of them are cool...the old ones who have been there all along. those are the best.

gosh. this is going to be fun.

haha. stupid underclassmen who moved here and thinks she's better than EVERYONE ELSE..even when our BD has pulled her aside and told her shes marching wrong. she's in our last band and still acts like shes the ****. she's not. believe me.

ok, so i haven't seen too many shows....mainly shows that i saw last night at region...and past contests... Reagan's show was okay...i think i'd have to see it again to see if i REALLY like it ... but yeah. Churchill was good too..... but yeah... i think you guys know that by now. ;-)

Our show was FFVII last year... good idea... but it was a weird arrangment of music...and i didn't like it at all. so yeah.

yeah. thats what i thought. East Central recieved ones which is VERY surprising.... there was a lot of phasing problems last night.

i enjoy music.... and working on music....and trying to get better, but sometimes my band...i don't enjoy it as much. nobody really takes anything seriously until like 2 days before a major contest...haha. like today...because UIL is monday...

Yeah...i'm really nervous because though our show is complete... its really dirty our 3rd segment is weird and we can't add interesting stuff until our show is close to perfect.
