Oh, I thought it was gonna be a literal list of the 6A Area C bands and their draw numbers so we might see when the potential finalists end up performing. I did see the schedule already, but thanks! Rockwall is in my top 5… does that count? Lol.

How is State performance order determined? I know they spread out the bands from different Areas pretty evenly, but is it random, or do bands pick a number to determine the order, or something else? Just wondering how they will assign the performance times for the Area C bands.

Pecos advanced with zero electronics. No soloists. Synths were silent. All on top of sitting through a miserable and rainy seven hour performance delay. The kids powered through and absolutely deserve another shot at a proper performance. I think they could have been top 3 without those issues.

You listed Forney twice. I presume you meant to type Sachse?

Yeah I knew they moved it due to weather, but the inclement weather date on UIL’s website is listed as the 4th, not the 5th, so I was wondering why UIL chose the 5th. But I see now that weather tomorrow is looking worse than Tuesday so I guess I shouldn’t question it lol.

Womp. I’m not a Texan so I’m not familiar with the forecast, but just looked at the forecast this morning and it said sunny for tomorrow and Tuesday, and now just looked again and it says rain for both days. Splendid. 🙃

This might have already been discussed, but this thread has been hot the last couple of days and don’t feel like reading through all the previous pages, but why was this contest moved to Tuesday — and it’s needless to say what is happening that day — instead of Monday, the proposed inclement weather date?
