Wylie East swapped this show with the Prosper regional.

Apparently Wylie East is now making the trek to this contest in addition to UIL Region.

I posted mine in the HornRank forums a few weeks ago, with some minor updates here. Even though The Woodlands had two director changes for this upcoming year, I have no doubt this show is theirs to lose. Places 2-4 could really go either way. Klein Oak had a phenomenal season last year and seem to be on the rise, along with Wylie East, who narrowly outscored the former at San Antonio, and also has a mostly new design team. Pearland has also been through some director changes, and took 11th at this very contest last year after being 3rd in music and 15th in visual for prelims, before shooting up to 3rd at Katy the following week after cleaning some things. A fluke? Perhaps. While early season trends do come into play, I still can't see them placing out of the top 5 here, barring another bad run. The rest really is a crapshoot from there. I know there are still a couple bands left to go in prelims but if anyone on here is there I’d definitely appreciate seeing results!

I would think not, since one was already taken down and a request was made by an administrator not to post any results until tomorrow’s event is concluded.

Congrats to Roma for their AA championship, but they also won a Class AAA championship at McAllen a few weeks ago. How is it possible to change classes in the same calendar year?

Couldn’t agree more. The pacing was very off.

Y’all are vastly underestimating Wylie East. They haven’t shown up in hardly anyone’s predictions around the top 30-40. Guarantee they will be in that mix, maybe even higher. Not to mention they just qualified for State for the first time in school history this past weekend!
