Langham Creek has an incredible show design, incredible soloists, incredible color guard, and one of the most emotional musical moments you'll ever hear in send in the clowns. I wouldn't say they are a lock for state, but people aren't giving them credit.

I still think langham could beat out falls or fair, but most likely falls. I liked fairs show this year but I've heard somewhere they've struggled lately

The major contenders to make it our Cy falls, langham creek, Cy fair, seven lakes, SFA, Clements, and Morton ranch. What do y'all think their strengths/weaknesses are and what do they have to do to make state

It will be very interesting on how many can qualify for state. I see about 6-7 bands who could take spots in the top 4

I'm a spectator. I've seen all Cy fair bands perform and I have friends at a lot of their schools. I think the fourth spot will be a toss up between Cy falls, seven lakes and SFA, unless langham tears like they did on Saturday. If they don't, send in the clowns is just too good too not put into state

To me though, langham creek and Cy ranch have much better color guards. The amount of sound should not have as much importance as overall color and dynamic levels which Cy falls doesn't have. If four bands make it, I have in no particular order Cy fair, Clements, langham creek and SFA.

I still don't get what the hype is around for Cy Fall's show. Can someone explain?
