China Spring, Burnet, and Springtown will continue to be locks until a director change happens. Expect to see Alvarado and Gatesville to continue to make strides in the upcoming years. You can also never count out Kennedale, Fredericksburg, and Robinson, they will always be contenders. Keep an eye on for Jarrell, they've had an impressive trajectory since bumping up to 4A.

I believe Panhandle, Sundown, Tenaha, Rivercrest, Shiner, Harper, and Valley Mills will be the top 7, I don’t have a definite order right now.

Of course I believe anything can happen at the SMC but for me these are the groups I think have high potential to make finals: 2A: Sundown, Panhandle, Santo, Honey Grove, Tenaha, Rivercrest, Clarksville, Shiner, Harper, Valley Mills 4A: West Plains, Calallen, Canton, Anna, Celina, Kaufman, North Lamar, Sulphur Springs, Burnet, Springtown, China Spring 6A: Permian, Coppell, Waxahachie, Keller, Hebron, Flower Mound, Marcus, CTJ, Reagan, Cedar Ridge, Pearland, Woodlands, College Park, Alexander, Vista Ridge, Vandegrift, Westlake, Cy Fair, Seven Lakes, Bridgeland

2A Area E advancers are Ganado, Ben Bolt and Charlotte

2A Area B advancers : Santo, Honey Grove and Anson
