I thought Burnet sounded great yesterday and can’t wait to hear Pecos today! Love seeing more 4A bands do BOA San Antonio!

Do we think we still have representations for all 5 areas in state finals this year?

personally, I hope it’s at UNT. Seemed to be a good venue when it was there before, the stadium is big, and amazing acoustically.

they probably won't anytime in the near future, with St. Louis being more viable for them location and competively. But I would think the would probably be a bubble band, but they could also surprise us and place how Owasso or Blue Springs did.

honestly, right now I think they will because they've been more consistent than any other group in the country over the last 10 years.

I just don't think we can underestimate it. It's BOA, and there are politics, but Avon has been the most consistently dominant band in the country over the past few years. I'm a Texas guy and want one of our bands to win but I think it's a very real possibility they could win music and win the competition.

It may not be as hard as you think. You can't underestimate a Harloff hornline, and they won music at grand nationals last year as well.

I actually would like to see Abilene Wylie and Kennedale try it. I would also love to see Queen City try, and Holliday make a return.

After seeing whitesboro attending nationals last year and being very competitive with the other class A bands, are there any other AA or A bands you think could be very competitive in the BOA scene?

You also have to remember the politics in the BOA world is a thing too. Avon won't fall below 4th.

Just a note: last time Bellevue west and timber creek competed was the 2015 St. Louis super regional where Bellevue west beat them by 10 points

How many finalists can we expect? I'm not too familiar with the usbands format.
