lol, Yeah solo try-outs went good.....but because the 3rd movement we play is a millitary style type, he chose a all brass solo, so i didnt get it, everyone says i did really good by whatever...im cool wit it, And Yuh IM Eligible!

Yeah AMEN on the eligibillty thing.....Ive worked my **** off this week just to be eligible, and i think i amand hmm what else....oh We actuley have five more sets for our closer then were done with our show, and tomorrow is Solo try outs! Hope i get it lol but we dont have much to worry about, since we dont have to put the show on the field since we have a Open Week ( means no game for some of you dumb ppl lol ) Then Next week we play one of the best bands in the country LD BELL! cant wait to see there show

Our Show is actulley suprsingly good, we may be small but darn we pack a punch this year. I really like how our drill was made, very happy so far with how our show is turning out. Just curious on how yalls show are coming out with contest's a few weeks away?

Going through 2 reeds a week its easy, right now im down to one reed a week, i figured i could use a older reed for outside rehersal and my good reed for inside rehersals, either way i would still go through a few reeds during a short amount of time. As soon as i get the solo( if i get it ) i might not buy a reed for awhile....Well Untill big performances that is

Yeah it does get expensive, actulley today i bought a reed to start the week off, I try to keep them fresh since i hate when they get old and airy is all. And since i might get a Solo in our show i really want to have a good sound at all times. But yeah...it gets expensive

We Have 2 solos in our last movement...a trumpet solo, and a sax/trombone solo....when i say that both the trombones and sax's have the solo written out...for now were compeating for it....wonder who gets it at the end -hopes its me- lol

OK...only down-side of owning a woodwind. I go through at LEAST 2-3 Reeds a Week. I go through reeds fast. I wear em down and its bye bye. Its a hassal sometimes but whatever gets the job done. But im starting to run out of money lol Well i wanna know how many yall go through in 1 Week????

It was cloudy in our area but the game still went on and we still marched (a very sucessfull and improved ) show, very good friday

Hahaha...Wimps! J/P well personally i dont have a problem with either but w/e i just get tired of marching in the heat since all summer im working in the heat....after awhile it gets kinda like you wanna strangle someone j/k

Wow thats good news then, besides who would want a show about marching band, not saying its a bad idea but knowing the shows that go on mtv they would probaly make marching band look so stupid, and if they would call it "Bands Geeks" just the name makes fun of us...very idiotic idea.. But glad Marcus turned the offer down

We have no problem with the heat, but then again it feels great marching in the cold when its still dark out in the mornings! But its all good

Must suck for the brass people.....Ussually i just grab a dollar..lol.. know what am sayin?
