i should have done that! gahh but yea i think i know who he his now, speaking of concert ettiquite, jerry junkin told us this one story about how a woman at TMEA had her cell ring at a middle of a concert..he said she was pretty BIG too..lol so she gets up, tries to walk through the isle, and shes sitting up in the balcony too, so its a huge noise, so shes walking and then trips and shes all screaming and yelling and shes holding the cell phone in the air, like it mattered or something lol..so he was like "wouldnt it not kill her to hang up the phone and resume it later"

thats cool i shouldve gone to watch it..i was in the honors wind ensemble, we were doing chamber music concerts the same time the other bands were playing ...oh well lol

yea i think youre only allowed to try out on one instrument in region 19 as for the oboe/Eng. I dunno..but it would be hard doing both bass and Bb..learning 6 pieces of music and getting it all perfect is too time consuming lol but anyway, I play bass clarinet for region/area and for concert ensembles, clarinet and bass for orchestra, and i play piccolo pretty well

im going to the ut honors wind ensemble camp..im wondering if its still too late to sign up for baylor...

i made it in on the all state etudes for the 06 HBOA. So if you plan on that, make sure its REALLY CLEAN. You should start recording now or in early june-july and get it in before the deadlines...they start listening to them around november so it wont matter if you send it in early or not.

hmm for a clarinet...get an r-13..but if you really want like a top of the line horn you should try out the R-13 prestige model or RC Model with the modified bore on the second joint and bell. All three are great horns. Also try a Moening Barell..adds some projection and some PING to your sound lol but yea im starting clarinet again..having trouble reaching the altissimo notes (notes above staff C and beyond) any tips>?

well next year, marching season will be under our new assitant director (he just came in this year and hes a young director, and marched with the crossmen) and hes planning to change pretty much everything for the season. We're finally getting a new drill writer and flag instructor..WOOT! Pretty much the last 3 years were run under our main director whos like really old school..so i think next year might be interesting to try something new

im going to state on my ensemble..WOOT i didnt memorize my solo this year...all state and BOA kind of..took away from practice time lol..but i still managed to get a one

with state audtions up next week, ive been deciding on which mouthpiece to use...i have a clark fobes CF (1.70 mm) and a C* (1.80 mm) tip opening..both project but the cf does a little bit more project at the highnotes..but the C* is a bit more deeper at the low notes..what do yall think or know? lol

Has anyone been able to get the recordings from their midwest performance or pre-midwest recordings?
