YES. Dawson and Galena Park tied! I JUST got off the phone with the band director's wife from Galena Park!! GALENA PARK's FIRST STATE APPEARANCE SINCE 1991. I'm so proud of my old band!

I just got word from the band director of Galena Park HS. Galena Park was the top 4A band by a score of about 1000 points higher than LCM, and GP was the 4th highest overall in 4A and 5A. Galena Park however could not accept the 1st place award since they hosted. LCM was ranked 17th overall. Full results are being emailed to me by his wife in the morning. If noone else has posted results by then, I'll post them.

you went to channelview? alot of my best friends were in that band so i was at every CHS band concert haha. . I feel bad for the people Mr. Tate left when he come to GP but i'm so glad he is the asst. there now....he's so awesomeeeeeeeee.

Oh can I just say I'm SOOOOOO PROUD OF GALENA PARK. After making straight 3's and 4's during the late 90s-2002 yay GP. 8th at Area in 2003 6th at Area in 2005 4th at Area in 2007 I LOVE MY OLD BAND. ONE DAY THEY WILL BE AT STATE. ONE DAY VERY SOON.
