You can't lump someone composing in today's era in with composers from the Classical or Romantic era. That'd be like comparing John Williams to Dvorak...it makes no sense. For what he's doing, as well as expanding into ground-breaking concepts (like Paradise Lost), he's well on his way to permanently establishing himself as one of the great composers of our time.
