Anyone have videos of the shows?

Those compasses were so cool! I loved the soprano solo. They’re a fantastic band.

In the case of Round Rock (which I loved), I think abstract shows don’t land as well as shows with tangible themes. I’m not saying “hurr hurr people are too dumb to understand”, it’s just that they don’t resonate with people as well as other shows like Leander or Vista.

Cedar Park has so much potential it’s crazy. Fun shows like what they do don’t use them to their full potential. However, I have never in my life been blow away by the Can Can as I was today.

I like this guy.

I have to agree. Vista is a fantastic band but the concept was kind of not really conveyed. I felt it a bit during the ballad but overall it seemed like it wasn’t too “lost”.

Definitely. They’ve got a pretty good shot but I would not surprised if they did not. They’re a great band but other programs are just way bigger.

Georgetown shouldn't be counted out either. Last year I was impressed by what I saw at TMC.

Dripping Springs is pretty good. I've always liked listening to their percussion and I'm generally not a fan of just percussion (except the CR percussion. I love them). Hoping they do well.

Bands seem to be on lockdown this year. Barely any rumors squeak out, and the ones that do are promptly deleted.

Yup. We've barely seen anything from anyone. Almost every post on here is speculation based on last year. But like someone above me said hype is great. Not being excited kills programs where they stand.
