Cymbal line! Or Pit, we have one that played flute last 2 years, and one who is switching from flute to oboe... it's the thing to do at our school. Multiple people have switched to a double reed instrument.

I play oboe...all you have to do is look down and figure out the rest.

8 oboes????????? OMG! That's crazy...we have one,me...well 3, two switched this year one from flute and one from sax, 8 is crazy.

yeah, so they make plastic oboe reeds, and personally I would stick to the real thing, plastic is just too much work to play on, and you can't adjust it at all, and they sound like crap. but the flovored ones were really entertaining though. lol

Our school should put an oboe solo in before I graduate...just so I can can play more, I hate marching season cuz of that. But yeah, obviously I play oboe, and also english horn.
