i luv that. it looks cool!!

i went to a camp last year + they wanted me to learn bass but i left so that i could actually learn how to play it and then come back once i thought i was experienced enough. well, when i told a coordinator that i was NOT going to come back until next year he got upset with me. i just thought i was doing what was best for everybody but anyway...i`d like to go back again but to a different group. not on bass, though. i`ve loved doing cymbals the past two years and no, i`m not scv great but i improved A LOT A LOT so i think that if i just work hard i could have what it takes. i`m not worried about the doubt other people might have in me because i feel personally that i could do it...so, should i just go for it??

i luv`d Marcus` show!! i would wunna say "my favorite part was ..." but the whole show was my favorite part. i never wanted it to end=[ but it did and i feel bad because in the beginning, i was thinking "this show is not going to win...i`ve never even heard of them before" but they were amazing!!

agreed. our band keeps going down because in our district, they open a new high school every two years but they`re going to cap one that took away a lot last year. so, this next year, we`re going to gain a lot more kids[=

i don`t know what we`re playing yet...i just know that i don`t get to wear my red dress + play cymbals anymore. i`m back to French Horn, bittersweet.

HaHa, i was trying to remember all the names + i couldn`t...well, i think L.D. Bell is going to take it. i`ve heard they have the best show[= Oh, + i luv`d Marcus` show. i never really thought saw Marcus as a big contender but i saw this show + even though it was a bit much on the "fun" side, it was really good + a lot of people liked it.

[sigh] true story...i`m there"/ but we do limit ourselves every year to a 96-member hornline reguardless of size. the band itself gets smaller every year. people need to quit moving into NiSD + making us open new high schools every 3 years unless they intend on joining OUR band>=[

i never miss practice...except for freshman year when i didn`t care at all about band during marching season [i wasn`t thinking back then] + my band director lectured me + yelled at me so much, i cried my eyes out + went to practice after that...so iDk but i do know that from the past two years that i`ve marched, i only missed ONE + it was because my mom was in the hospital.

They are not competing in UiL + if they were, they would be disqualified...you honestly think a band that awesome practices only EiGHT hours?? Umm Noo...i`m sure they don`t really aim to win state because they could probably easily take it. UiL has sooooo many restrictions + BOA is a national thing with bands who are NOT bound by our restrictions from UiL. They have better chances at Grand Nationals if they don`t abide by that.

the Fire Within was awesome!! i thought it was pretty clean + i was like "wh0a...we tied with them??" Donna was great. how many band directors are there??

we`re going to sr + we just found out today.

i feel like crap...i was just kidding. i know how bad that looks. sorry=[ plus, we're going to super regionals + i don't think we`re gonna do as well as the big bands.

its more of a contest to see if bell will win or churchill or reagan...which i`m hoping L.D. Bell will:D nobody actually expects bands like us or harlingen to win [no offense to anybody]...seriously, we know who will most likely win.

HmM, its funny because their cymbal line dress they HAD is the same as the one we got our pattern from. i bet its weird to see another cymbal line with the dress you had. but they got new uniforms + i`m guessing no more cymbal dresses. oh, + we're [red] raiders + they're the BLUE raiders. HaHa, i really wanted a picture with them or something...lol, i`m such a dork!!

i would totally say something else but what i`ll say is this...WE STEPPED iT UP --we came back with a vengeance + gave it everything we could. us meeting a goal for the first time in six years shouldn't be something negative. Don't seriously tell me we completely ruined the chances of others.

The thing about crazy spreads is totally true. I saw you guys sitting behind us at results. i know how bad it sucks to not make it + i`m sorry...seriously, two years ago, we didn't make it + i was heartbroken too. There were bands that i felt should have placed after you guys but i still can't believe all the results. How did some bands get ranked 10th by some judges and 1st by others?!?! Our band director told us in May that Sharyland would make it to state without a doubt. Oh, and Harlingen. i'm seriously shocked.
