I don’t really understand why so many are counting haltom out. They were first out at boa this weekend and were above waxahachie and Keller central. I also think haltoms show is way more UIL based then in the past. I wouldn’t put it against them to take that stop. There show isn’t the most difficult and they have plenty of time to clean. It’s not my favorite show and it’s definitely not on the level of 2019 haltom but I still think it has a chance and shouldn’t be left out . I do agree that Keller and coppell and bell will be going to state but I’m not gonna put anyone in those last two stops cause it’ll just depend on the performance of the shows . We will see . Will be a bloodbath like every year

Wow haltom being first out .. that’s a bummer . Heard there was so internal issues with staffing and students. Hopefully they can improve and do better within area. Just is unfortunate because they were so incredible in 2019.

I just wanna say how proud I am of the pride of haltom. Season may of not started how they wanted but they ended strong and I was blown away. Everyone in San Antonio were incredible and I had the best time . Any who. Can’t wait to see what haltom does next year . But here is their San Antonio video if anyone wants to watch

I can definitely see that . I do think the props Spin and stuff but that just helps with general effect really . They have gotten a lot bigger and the show in general is really hard . But who know really maybe they pull it off and maybe not . AllWe can do is sit and watch and all they can do is put in there all and try to make it the best show they can

Then again we will see a lot of area b bands at the birdville contest this Saturday so it’ll be nice to get a feel for what sorta to expect even if haltom and Richland aren’t competing

I see that also if you compare the music and what they are doing to last year it looks and sounds way harder . But I’m hoping by the time area comes they suprise us . 3 weeks and a lot can happenI’m three weeks

I honestly completely give up on prediction in this area cause nobody except Keller can be put into a lock or a prediction. Especially because there is a whole three weeks left until area and so so much can change .

I think the only spots that are locks are flomo, Hebron, Keller, ctj , vandy , Leander and vista ridge , the woodland and Reagan ( I always forget those)Other than that I think they rest are up for grabs

It’s judged by every other block. Two sets of judges for prelims . And they alternate during blocks . So top 5 for even blocks and top 5 for odd blocks will advance and the the next 4 from all blocks

Yes I know every other band is good . But I’ve heard some of these groups . Yes I’m a fan of them cause my kids . But I’m not gonna make any more prediction cause really who know what’s gonna happens from now until then .

I saw those results and I makes me question a lot because I heard them literally yesterday with Richland before and haltom Was way better . That’s why it confuses me into what exactly happened. I’m not gonna count them out it’s 3 weeks away because the fact that something has to be going on . But I also give up on prediction cause it’s all over the place
