Leander pulled off a last minute win(literally) against Pflugerville tonight. Final score Leander 37, Pflugerville 36. They missed the tieing extra point attempt with 45 seconds left in the game, giving us the win.

Technically speaking it seems much easier than anything in the last 4 years. Though that just means that it must be performed at a much higher level to advance. It will be interesting to see how auditions go.

That is how many trombone spots we have this year. 3 are alternates that dont march competitions.

Its hard to say this early on. We are 1-1. Lost to Converse Judson and beat A&M Consolidated. Both were non-district so they dont really matter.

We only have 12 total, 9 marching this year. 4 Seniors, 1 Junior, 1 Sophomore, and 6 freshmenz. :/

Yeah, better than my field test prompt "Write an essay about what makes people interesting" possibly the worst prompt ever conceived by a group of teachers...ever. My essay was about how crappy the prompt was and was 1/3 a page long. Crappy TAKS Prompts. So what if we talk about it? What, are the TAKS police gonna fine me or something?

I swear i walked from the Brass rooms upstairs down to the library a billion times yesterday...and three of the brass rooms finished an hour behind so stop complaining...the other two finished 5 min early. >.<
