I dont understand why they are building another school to pull from Leander when Cedar Park hasn't lost people yet. But oh well that will be the year after I graduate so it doesn't affect me.

At the end of last year for Band placement auditions for this year, the lead trombone player of the top band decided that giving blood was more important than auditioning and gave blood 30 minutes before the audition. When auditions were about to start we had to get him from the blood drive room(which was in the Old Band Hall) to play. He asked the director if someone could hold is horn up while he played but was told it wouldn't be aloud so he played best he could. He ended up making first chair second band.

How can you call that a hack of a game? They played really bad in all but the 4th quarter. Which just so happens to be when all the the region people got there and the band got 50x louder. Coincidence?...

There isn't official rankings period. Different sites give different rankings throughout the entire year. The one i posted is updated after every game including playoffs as opposed to most that stopped updating once reglar season ended and will update it again only after the championship game and playoffs are over. Edit: Movement is the number of ranks up or down they moved from last week. I think Strength is the Strength of Schedule, but I'm not entirely sure and could easily be wrong.

Leander is ranked 5th in the state and 53rd(?) in the country. At least according to this site Edit: And yeah Round Rock is 10th according to that as well.

Eh. Im good at physics. Dont know what I'm doing half the time but manage to get the right answer. Thinking about studying physics in college.

The year before i got here they went to Ireland for St. Patricks day and marched in a big parade. My freshmen year we went to Disney World. Last year and this year the directors have proposed expensive trips and fairly short trips that no one really wants to pay for so they have been canceled. Hopefully we go somewhere awesome next year.

We just stay in a block and play some stand tunes...really boring. The directors have pretty much geared entirely into concert season, one of which roots for the team we are playing during the games.

By looking at that half second clip of film it appears so. Looking at the entire clip and youll see why it should have been no penalty if not on the defense.

Seriously? We 've been known to receive complimentary email and letters but our behavior in the Golden Corral was definately not our best. We were kinda hectic. Glad they represented well and were nice to you though.

Woot. Still here till at least saturday lol. Leander vs Garland. 7 pm at Waco ISD stadium. Same day as SAT's and Region band...only two of our three busses will get there on time, the third will have late region people.

We tore quite a bit in rehearsals and a couple times during football games but never anything that bad and not ever real noticable at a competition.
