we actually have a modern symphony in parts 2a and 4. its elfmans only symphony.

where are you getting this information? because our music does NOT sound like dr. seuss. its actually dark sounding in parts 2a and 2b and in part 4. (part one is a sax solo to make it sound like an music box thing i think? and part three is real pretty)

oh. hahah ok. well our show this year is marionettes and we are doing like all these marionette like moves to get big GE points

im sorry that happened to y'all.. we lost all three as well and it was equally hard.

hey. creekview isn't on the list yet but our new director, preston hazzard, does things with BOA symposium and so he got us a friday slot. were not on there yet because he just got us that spot. we should be considered because we almost made finals last year at BOA SA (14th place when they took 12 to finals) while beating the band that got 10th at state! plus our 2nd band director is kara hoeflinger who won the drum major of the year award for dci in 2004 with the phantom regiment is making our marching like 15 times better and adding visuals every chance we get. and im the one with the flugel horn solo in the third movement oh new uniforms also. so be on the lookout

creekview's not going because of three new directors and homecoming is on that night. we also aren't going to san antonio because we are going to disney world and can't go on one major trip and another pretty big trip in the same year. =[ so im pretty sad

most definetely but im a freshman and have never expirenced area before only been there to take pit instruments on the field for a couple of years

who is excited and who is nervous im both but mainly nervous approx. 9 hours until first band starts
