so now that we have the set number of bands going to area B, do we want to start making predictions again? Or just agree to work our butts off and see what happens...

that's true, good point (normally I wouldn't care about any other band but since I moved up to McKinney from HEB right before I started playing it just sticks)

ok thats cool, I've just heard some what I will call LD Bell music (since that what I associate it with) from the past couple of years played at Plano East (North Lamar) and UIL (I believe Sherman was playing atleast a whole movement from the 05 show Ascension)....thanks, just wondering

random but sort of relevant question, how long do you think a band has to wait to play the same music another band played that happened to be awesome? couple of years, no years...

i say no predictions till region is over, it'll change in the next few days anyway depending on how many bands make it...

oh well then it's good you guys switched to those blue pants instead of the white because they ALWAYS do that and it pisses me off! why don't we all just scream in the silence? lighten the mood

so now every band that was in the area C finals last time besides poteet has officially left to either 5A or tougher area B, wonderful

mckinney and denison did (30 total bands and only five have competed)

about 156 total, with about 14 seniors

thanks, is wakeland going to be 4A next year? (if so it'll be nice to still have a year of training/prep time on fundamentals and whatnot)

yeah UIL is tomorrow, we're psyched for it! actually I think Boyd is going to be the only 5A school in McKinney but don't quote me on that thanks for the encouragement at Plano East, we tryed to get that award but I guess you can't beat the only band who can do a super slo-mo wave good for all of twenty minutes

one things for sure, if we (Boyd) are gonna make I pray it's gonna be this year cuz next year they are bumping up to 5A and that will be tough, although they will lose all of about 14 people good luck to everyone at region and area

the trophy was actually as big as the grand champion trophy, lol allen actually seemed a bit smaller than the last few years....not that it takes away from the performance, it's still like 10,000 more people than any other band

they did it at Plano East and subsequently got the spirit award

speaking of which, is anyone else besides region 25 competing on wednesday?

not that you would, just saying...

as much as I love looking forward to dogfights, don't forget and blow off region, we don't want anyone to get caught with a two and possibly lower the number of bands going to state because of it...that would suck

oh cool, boyd over here, lol congrats on the football win over North... So we've gone from competing with poteet, sherman, wylie, hebron, mckinney (when I was there and we were good in 05) to this crap...what luck

what bands are you guys from?

lol that doesn't make me feel better... 8 bands for what we hope is 4 spots... i say we just put them on the field two at a time and let them duke it out.
