I was outside the stadium following our performance and the trumpet was clear as day. Felt really good coming off of our run, and while thinking 'that can't actually be happening again this season can it?' (also Hebron at BOA Bedford), it really was in the back of my mind at that moment. Seeing y'all coming off the field, the expression in everyone's faces confirmed it for me.

I'm gonna have to bite my tongue off with these results.

It's much nicer that the mathematical maximum time between a prelims and finals performance is 'only' 12 hours, which is very unlikely to happen (Cy-Fair could go 9:30 AM and PM if certain State Contenders miss), whereas a certain group had a 14+ hour gap between performances in 2016. It was a very necessary Area split.

Are the back to the newer interface?

Looks like everything is back on schedule starting with Anderson. The break between blocks 3 and 4 is also 30 minutes longer.

I was a student on the receiving end of a very similar situation 2 years ago. Large gusts of wind toppled multiple of our props (I'll add that we even arranged them to avoid wind issues), and the pit crew next to us helped us get them stood back up for deconstruction (IIRC, it was FloMo parents who had just finished loading up Leonardo's wings). It's definitely one of those things that I'll remember when I'm done with marching band.

Bridgeland opened in 2017 under Cy-Falls' former head band director Shawn McAnear. They do not have a class of 2019. I'd argue that their new-school presence was overshadowed by Weiss and Glenn last year.

Which leads to one of the quirks about Cy-Fair. Cy-Fair is the official name of the high school, Cypress Fairbanks is the school district. The hyphenated name is the only name the school goes by, which is unlike the other 8 schools that start with Cypress. Even UIL has listed them incorrectly at times.

Any reason BOA Conroe hasn't made it on yet?

Any specification on genre? I have a large array of electronic music that I could find something in, but I probably couldn't come up with anything classical if I were to try. I'm going to search for something (probably without lyrics) regardless, and respond around lunch. Lunchtime edit: mostly bass-y/trap stuff I've come up with at the moment.
