  1. I now have The Remaining stuck in my head. I just watched it. :-)
  2. You're DEAD.
  3. I guess not, since that was yesterday... :-) Why would bassoons play for at least three trumpet players as judges for Region? Why not bassoon players?
  4. I still love vibraphone. The bassoon idea sounds nice, though. Oh yeah, and why? Vibraphone is pretty with pedal and four mallets, but then it also can be very harsh and provide nice clashes, I suppose you could say. Bassoon because it just rocks.
  5. Nope. I'm a sophmore, sooooo yeah. Is "melancholic" a word/how you would say something like "I'm in a state of melancholy today" in one word?
  6. I meant the other endings, as well. I was talking about UIL and BOA San Antonio endings being different. And then I think also BOA Arlington. Why were they all different?
  7. "Kimmay"? Some reference to my name or something else that I don't get? :-) So, then it is "musik" and people should spell it that way.
  8. That was stupid. I felt stupid when he said that. At least I wasn't the ONLY person to not get it. Oh, and what's with the misspelling of "musik"? (To you Bowie people.) Our shirts spell it that way! So, why isn't that it...??
  9. Again, thanks to all the Texas bands for their huge support. It was very uplifting and motivating!
  10. Vic Firth.
  11. Uh, I don't care. Are your earlobes attached or unattached?
  12. TWIX! :-) Who went to Grand Nats (either performing or watching) and what did you think?
  13. So, why does L.D. Bell have different endings? I heard it was because of the time requirement?
  14. Just a question for someone to hopefully answer. Have there been other bands that make finals their first year going to Grand Nats? I'm really interested in this. Congrats to all the Texas bands, and Broken Arrow. 'Twas amazing! :-) Also, thanks for all the bands there that cheered for us. Especially Churchill. We saw them a lot. :-D It was awesome to see all the Texas bands cheering for each other and clapping for each other in the halls and whatnot. And to see other bands from other states congratulate other bands, say good luck, and all that jazz. So, thank you all for that!
  15. State and then Indy.
  16. being on a JV football team that lost to the Westfield band while playing full tackle (Spring i believe) - WOAH! Major confuzzeled-ness.
  17. Pieces of wood and metal all stuck togethere that can be REALLY annoying OR quite nice. Hopefully nice. Why are some people in our band really stupid? (If you know what I'm talking about, I'm really sorry that some people in our band [James Bowie] don't have enough class/character to be mature about it. I'm so sorry that they went and posted things that should not have be said. What some people said do NOT represent the band, and basically the entire band is really bugged that this person would do such a thing. So, again, I'm sorry that some people can't be mature about things such as Saturday.)
  18. Homework. (L.D. Bell - annoyance because... eh, don't get offended by this, okay, people? It's just, I really tend to dislike bands that use a lot of synth and then don't play a lot. Their show was pretty awesome, though! Congrats on the win!! But, I generally don't like bands with a lot of synth and sound system stuff. [And yet our band got it this year... :-\] So, I'm sorry if that offended anyone.)
  19. Isn't that a bit harsh? Just wondering. Although Texas bands kick butt. :-)
  20. Because you'd probably look stupid with facial hair. (Just kidding.) Why am I procastinating on packing when I have only TODAY to pack?
  21. Annoyance.
  22. Haha, my mallets bend, too. It's pretty funny after a show, when they are all bent and whatnot. (Vic Firth, I think it's M187, or something...?) Yeah, our band director bought all Vic Firth mallets for show mallets this year.... Kinda interesting, I suppose. What do you guys use/which brand do you like the best?
