  1. According to my sources, Rouse is dropping
  2. Looks like PSJA and Dripping Springs are going as well
  3. I just saw Rouse's show last night and I've gotta say, that was quite a show.
  4. Thank you for this wondrous video. I swear there's something else in those things because they are too addictive, I definitely should have bought multiple bags of them on the way back from DCI SA. Off topic story, after BOA SA 2016 we stopped at the Buc-ees in New Braunfels and one of our guys kept his tux on (Because Tango) and walked around the store in it.
  5. Sadly their website still says the schedule will be posted in early September
  6. On a semi related note, I saw some drum corps have stools for the synth players to sit on
  7. Plenty of bands signing up for this one. September 28th at Burger Stadium in Austin. William B. Travis HS - Austin Elgin HS - Elgin Manor New Tech HS - Manor Gonzalez HS - Gonzalez Navarro HS - Seguin Wimberley HS - Wimberley Akins HS - Austin Austin HS - Austin Cedar Creek HS - Cedar Creek Dripping Springs HS - Dripping Springs Lockhart HS - Lockhart McCallum HS - Austin Waller HS - Waller Anderson HS - Austin Samuel Clemens HS - Schertz Smithson Valley HS - Spring Branch Temple HS - Temple William H. Taft - San Antonio
  8. I love how both Johnsons are last to go
  9. Since I don't have a competition that day, I'm now considering going just to watch. Last year after the Waco incident a few of us went to TMC and watched the last few bands in prelims. It was very weird watching another high school band in the lot while in high school.
  10. Looks like Adamson (Dallas), Lehman (Kyle), and Canyon (New Braunfels) were added, so it's looking like this will be pretty a competitive competition
  11. As of August 6th, 2019 Add Lakeview Centennial
  12. Quite a lot of bands already signed up so far W. Charles Akins HS-Austin Crockett HS-Austin Veterans Memorial HS (Judson)-San Antonio MacArthur HS-San Antonio Edinburg HS-Edinburg Stony Point HS-Round Rock LBJ HS-Austin Burnet HS-Burnet Austin HS-Austin Johnson HS-Buda John Marshall HS-San Antonio William J. Brennan HS-San Antonio Winston Churchill HS-San Antonio Sharyland HS-Mission Medina Valley HS-Castroville United South-Laredo Anderson HS-Austin Lamar HS-Arlington Salado HS-Salado Georgetown HS-Georgetown
  13. I get my Amazon package and a new Danpod episode a day early? Also, should've had the thanks to the seniors starting a second later.
  14. Dripping Springs released their show Mass=F/A and all I know about the music is that they're using music from Bernstein's Mass
  15. Any early predictions here as well?
  16. We're mostly just getting back on our feet in my opinion. We've definitely put more focus on GE and I think our new show has a lot of potential, but also all of this naturally has a little bias seeing how I go there.
  17. Ann Richards 2019 show is called: The Heist
  18. Looks like Austin Bowie announced their show, it's called The Apotheosis and it just says that the music is by James Horner, Paul Dukas, and David Maslanka This show is funny to me, because back in early 2017 the directors had fake shows on their whiteboard and one of them was called Apotheosis and was music by Karel Husa and it also had Yackety Sax.
  19. I can only confirm BOA Austin, and USBands Round Rock for Anderson. Waco is a pretty solid bet for us as well seeing how it's the only competition we could go to that day. I do not know what we're going to on October 5th, I can only guess Vista Ridge or USBands Waco
  20. I remember their website saying it's open to the first 24 to sign up, so I don't know if there will be any more additions
  21. Anderson's show is called Across The Universe Music is Overture, Distress Signal, and Rescue Fleet from Interstellar Suite by Amin Bhatia, and Maestoso - Agitato from Celestial Night by Richard Danielpour
