yea for living in the San Antonio Area i'm goin friday after school and all day saturday, gonna watch them all-state bands, got a friend in the 5A All-State Top Band. SHOULD BE AWESOME!!!

brass and percussion = drum corps...sure woodwinds can try to learn a brass instrument, but we already know it

wat the heck!!! three region bands???? i didn't know there could be that many in a region but i guess everyone who is anyone tries out in those kind of regions, man that's crazy

pretty self explanatory so start it on the actually repertoire forum, hmm?

to the people outside of band a couple of us call them normies, lmao, i think it's funny

i couldn't practice over the break cuz i went to mexico on vacation, so my parents didnt want me to take that big ol' tuba thang with me, lol but i did try and finger and learn music over there

i've carmel, avon, centerville, and center grove can't really think of any other's and i have never seen a band in texas use contvertibles, that would be amazing if i got to march one on high school...darn you midwest bands

BOA Houston,after prelims and our mics were completely effed up, i was a little preoccupied of us not making finals, cuz this was our year..so when we heard our name called out for finals everyone was going crazy, we were so loud i didnt hear any of the other bands called after us and we were the third band called.... so after that our finals performance i was so happy i almost started crying and man it felt so good, we got to watch some of the other bands and when retreat came i was so excited when they announced us not 10th so i was like then not 9th and i was like then not 8th and i was like and then not 7th and i was like then they called us sixth and i was like man it felt so good being there, for our school's band first time being in finals and making it that high, it was awesome!!!

well one guy after he was done started smashing his fist into his forehead...kinda crazy, and this other little kid like probly 5 foot nuthing, hah, he was so horrible and everyone in our room was laughing at him, even he was laughing when he was done

we have a PAC as well and one time we we're holding a DC Festival...well we kinda hold lots of them, but one time these parents from i dunno where were taking pictures of the whole performing arts center, i thought it was pretty funny

i think L.D. Bell cuz at SA Pre-lims and they announced L.D. Bell in first, none of them went like crazy or anything as all the other bands did, all they did was somewhat of a simple clap, i was so amazed
