Which schools were those?

I noticed you had CP on top yesterday. Are they not as clean anymore?

All 4 CISD schools rocked it tonight. Willis was really good as well; hope they continue upwards. It still feels difficult to predict who will win this Saturday. As of now it would seem CP would take it, but the TWHS was a ton cleaner tonight. If they keep up the cleaning at the same rate I wouldn’t be surprised to see them on top.

Currently at Region 9 right now and the rain is definitely not here!

Make no mistake, CP is very clean right now, but I wouldn’t ever count out TWHS. There peak has yet to come and they are in their own cleaning phase. I completely understand your thoughts here, but I mean it’s TWHS, and they are on their best year since winning Grand nats.

Top 4 are Flomo, CTJ, TWHS, and Leander. In no order. I don’t believe Reagan’s show is challenging enough for it to be competitive with these four. Complicated shows that are cleaner than easier shows are winning shows.

Oh absolutely. I think CTJ gets 4th this year. Reagan, along with TWHS and Flowermound will definitely beat them at BOA SA.

The fact that the competition wasn’t a deep is exactly my point. If Tarpon had ever competed against the Texas bands, which they most likely never will until Grand Nats, and even then pretty unlikely with the pattern they follow, I’m curious to see how scores would have played out. Technically because we will never know, there is a lot of guesswork that determines rankings other than justified opinions.

I feel that HornRank placing Tarpon Springs at #1 is a little strange. Their finals score was less than Ronald Reagan’s, and BOA conroe was a week before BOA Orlando. I feel that a few more bands, like the top few at BOA Conroe, should be a little closer to Tarpon if not above.

My predictions as of now. Will definitely change, and are based off of current results, how complete programs are, and usual tendencies of the bands towards the end of the season. 1. Ronald Reagan 2. Uhhhhhh. This is not the same Woodlands I saw a week ago, and that’s not because of the amazing streamers. They have gotten so good in only a week. If they don’t win I’m calling BS.

Favorite performance so far is definitely SFA. With Reagan being a close second.

I did see it, and it was marvelous. As of now, definitely on par with last years, of course I don’t believe anything will ever top How Great Thou Art, but this one has come so close. I’m really excited for where the band takes this one.

I don’t know why this occurred to me just now, but can any Woodlands people explain to me how every year their ballad is one of the most gorgeous movements of marching band that year?

The hype is unreal right now, please let it be Saturday.

Are you gonna preview Conroe?

From what I’ve heard, and I after seeing their homecoming night exhibition, they are miles better right now than where they were last year in October. TWHS is usually a late season bloomer and this year they are already at such a strong level. Someone mentioned it earlier, but their brass line is more balanced than it has been the past 3 years. I’d say TWHS is a force to be reckoned with this year.

When are the boa Conroe predictions gonna be up on the predictions page? Such a tight competition needs predictions

As of now, TWHS Marching Band will be allowed to participate in BOA Conroe Finals should they qualify. The principal just informed the band today after school with the amazing news. We are overjoyed in this decision and in our principal’s debt. This also means y’all can stop writing letters and such. Go WOODLANDS!!!
