The Virginia Tech piece ya'll played, was it titled "Bridges"? If so that's what we are playing for holiday concert

I'm from Cy-Springs. To be honest we weren't upset with getting 10th, but definitely shocked because we have been in the top 5 since my freshman year at this contest. I was proud of Duncanville, because they are used to winning, and win they were announced 4th place, they cheered like they had one. The one negative thing that did occur was as my fellow drum majors and I were reviewing the comment sheets with our director, the Tomball director said to some other people, "So we finally schooled Cy-Springs." Our director just said "Hey!" and we all turned around smiling already because we were in a good mood and didn't know he said that. He shut up and left immediately. I never lose respect for a program if a band member says something rude, but I lost respect for Tomball knowing their own director said that.

yea lol. we walked into the stadium and were like "whoa... they like the silver!" lol. finals was amazing. we could not believe the response from the crowd before we even started our show! the standing ovation before and after the show was first place in our eyes. : )

Hi I am the drum major from Cy-Springs. I wanted to hear some feedback on our show at finals. If you don't know who we are, we are the ones with the crazy silver costumes lol. It seriously was the best performance Cy-Springs has done yet. What did ya'll think of it? Feel free to be honest. I honestly thought we should place higher than Jersey Village. Mr. Bennett placed us 3rd and I HIGHLY respect his decisions. He knows about good sounds if you have heard his TMEA 2006 recording of Feste Romane. : )

I believe that Cy-Springs has an excellent chance at the Area E competition to advance. The show this year is their best ever. I am not sure if Cy-falls has as great a shot this year taking into consideration that they recieved a 1, 2, 1 at UIL.
