    They did! Here’s the results: 1st: Clifton 2nd: CH Yoe 3rd: Troy 4th: Brock 5th: Lorena 6th: Academy 7th: Teague 8th: Elkhart 9th: Whitney 10th: Grandview Clifton, CH Yoe, Troy and Brock advance to the 3A State competition on November 8th!

    Ya, last year we miss Finals by 1 point and this year we get the shaft by a judge……that’s what happens when ya pay people for their opinion. It really sucks, bc that was our best run and unfortunately last.

    The kids and directors feel really good by the run they had, the heat got to our trumpet soloist so hopefully that doesn’t hurt too bad. Other than that, I honestly believe it was the best run of the season.

    I believe Godley will advance to Finals. If they clean what they need to, they could take 6th-9th place. Otherwise Godley will finish between 10th-12th place. Either way, Godley should make Finals this year and their show is amazing. Strongest points in the show this year would have to be the visuals and brass. Percussion and footwork need a little work, but other than that, y’all should be good.
