I have Region 30 2A-4A results covered

If there were 6 advancements last year Kennedale would’ve gone to State and Godley would’ve made Finals again. This year, we could see 6 advance as there were a hand full of bands that only missed going to Area by 1 judge.

Any more predictions as the season gets started?

Godley went to BOTH of their USBands competitions last year and won D2 in both and won all captions(there was more than one). In Saginaw, yes they placed 12th in Finals, but the 2nd one(held at ATT Stadium), they placed 7th.

The performance order isn’t out yet. It’ll be posted hopefully as soon as tomorrow, but it’s more like next week.

It is official that 29 bands will be advancing to the Area D Prelims, 10 to Finals and 5 to State. Who y’all got? The colors in prelims were last year’s results.

Ten should make finals and 5 will advance. Godley had a great showing at Region, so we should see in two weeks what they do at Area D! The show is an amazing production of colors and is just fun to spectate!

I do believe that USBands event was the ATT Stadium Classic. Godley has never held a USBands event, but has been to 2.

Brewer won USBands on Tuesday over a really good Mount Pleasant show, so I’m going with a safe bet and saying Brewer won tonight.

There are now a total of 31 bands advancing to 4A Area D(including the Kennedale spot). According to Dave609, UIL will be advancing 6 bands from Finals to go off to the State Marching Competition! This is gonna be an interesting October 30th!

If you asked to get my spreadsheet, then I just got the email to accept it, sorry.

It would be 29 with Kennedale, I was counting 28 without.

We would need 3 to make 31 with Kennedale not going to Area, but 2 to make it 30 even. Right now we have 28 bands headed to Area D with us waiting on Region 27.

Kennedale opted out of Area!! They’re not advancing even with the Division 1 rating at Region.
