    Lake Belton got 5th, it’s in their band booster FB page. Springtown is also advancing, but they don’t say what place they got.

    Keep in mind China Spring marches military style, so they’ll run the military State route for Area D.

    For 2021, all conferences are eligible for advancement!! 4A Area D will be held in Plugerville again this year and should be a prelims/finals format unlike last year!

    Burnet and Robinson are always a flip-flop on State years. My 5 band prediction in Area D is Kennedale, Springtown, China Spring, Burnet/Alvarado/Robinson and Godley. Lake Worth and Midlothian Heritage won’t advance, because of their 1-1-2 in Region and Glen Rose may have gotten a 1-1-1, but they don’t really have a State title show. Alvarado could even take the 4th slot even with the rough year they had, they sounded amazing at region and got a 1-1-1, but they(like us(Godley)) still fall short in Area.

    So you think they will go to State? They do have 3 clinics scheduled the week of Area just to let you know. Clinic 1 is the person who wrote their show, Clinic 2 is the one who wrote the drill and Clinic 3 is a previous judge from the past three contests. They’re coming at Area this year pretty hard.

    Area D takes 5 bands to State this year, so if they take 4th or 5th, they move on.

    This was Godley’s Region performance. You honestly think Godley has what it takes to take that last spot? Against a good Burnet band?

    All results are in and 26 bands for Area D are advancing, meaning 5 qualify for state. No official schedule is out yet.

    That means, for there to be 6 advancement spots in Area D, 30 4A bands would have to advance yes?

    Looks like 4A Area A advanced 5 bands today! Results are in on that as well. It said ‘Finalist’ on bands 4 and 5 is why I say 5 advanced.
