  1. Wow. After seeing Hebron and Flower Mound get so close all season long, Flower Mound pulls ahead with the victory. My favorite part of Flower Mound’s show has to be the closure when all of those colorful flags fill the field. I can’t wait to see them and some of these other programs at state on Monday! (Also, to any Hebron kids seeing this, Please bring back the blue gloves! From, several former alumni #bringbackblue)
  2. Wow!!! Hebron!!! What an incredible show! Can’t wait to see this show again at state! Also, love the shiny additions to the uniform! But, can we bring back the blue gloves and gauntlets? Those were iconic!
  3. Anyone have a video of Hebron's final performance?

  5. Jumping on the bandwagon (ha), if anyone has a video from Hebron's Final Performance, I would greatly appreciate it!!
  6. https://www.facebook.com/lewisvilleisd/videos/2021-22-toy-finalist-andrew-sealy/1380813752382771/ Wanted to share this video of Hebron's fantastic band director. An amazing tribute honoring the impact he had on his past students and his current students. I cannot think of anyone more deserving of the Teacher of the Year award, and I truly hope he is honored with this achievement.
  7. If anyone is in the Lewisville area, Hebron will be doing a send-off performance of their show tomorrow night! Pull this information from a Facebook post: The Hebron's Band Tournament of Roses send off performance will be Monday, December 13th @ 7:00 pm at Hawk Stadium. For their sendoff to the Tournament of Roses parade, the Hebron Band will have an encore performance of their 1st Place BOA San Antonio and their Gold Medal State Marching Competition show titled “Pen Stripe"
  8. Does anyone have a link to Hebron's final performance that hasn't been taken down yet?
  9. CTJ was great, but I think Hebron’s show was more challenging and more demanding. Hebron played their hardest material while on the move while CTJ would mostly stand and play. That’s what I noticed from watching these two schools back to back. Hebron marched and played. CTJ tended to stay in one place and play. CTJ did have some hard drill moves, don’t get me wrong, and I loved the uniqueness they brought to the field. I just believe Hebron’s show was a bit harder than theirs musically and visually. I know they will both do very well tonight though!!
  10. Have not been on in awhile, but I heard a rumor about a shocking change. I heard that in Area C (I think), instead of taking the top 4 to state, they are only taking the top 2. The top 4 typically always had Flower Mound, Hebron and Marcus and sometimes Keller. But if they are only taking two, it is possible that a LISD Powerhouse Band may not be at state this year...
  11. Hebron +1 CTJ -1 Spring 11 Duncanville 4 Klein 2 Westfield 15 Winston Churchill 11 Leander 8 L.D. Bell 17 The Woodlands 19 Stephen F. Austin 14 Ronald Reagan 17 Richland 7 James Bowie 9 Marcus 10 Cedar Park 6 Claudia Taylor Johnson 4 Cedar Ridge 4 Round Rock 9 Flower Mound 6 Hebron 7 Keller 5 Prosper 3 are there any extra points for getting the highest score ever at grand nats?
  12. I don’t think it’s a matter of peaking. BOA San Antonio is so much more difficult than Grand Nats. They should really rename it Grand Nats San Antonio. If Carmel and Avon came down to TX for this contest there would be different results than Grand Nats.
  13. Was the cold cold night the Ducanville Invational? Because that was a cold contest. I remember having hand warmers in my gloves for that performance. Hebron 2017 will always be my one of my favorites.
  14. I know Hebron had the opportunity but they turned it down because most of the kids thought it was too expensive. Instead they went to a beach here in Texas and still had a great time. I bet now they are saving up for an amazing show for Indy next year.
  15. For some reason I didn’t enjoy Uncharted Waters. Compared to 360 and later Sculpt and Endeavor, it wasn’t as amazing as those have been. Just my personal opinion.
  16. I would have to say Hebron 2015, 2017, and 2018. No one really talks about Hebron’s show from this year, but it was spectacular. If it had just been a bit cleaner visually they definitely could’ve gotten their usual second place silver medal or maybe even first. I still watch the video and get goosebumps. I also enjoy Marcus 2017, Avon 2017, and FloMo 2016.
  17. These kids really know how to march AND play!
