Would love to see some Houston representation at Nats! 2020 is TWHS off/state year obviously but the talks about Pearland going excites me. Would love to see Spring go back or maybe even North Shore. Clear Brook would be a sight to see considering their uprising this year. Maybe the other CISD bands like College Park and Oak Ridge but that'll be highly unlikely considering it's 6A state year next year. So maybe some 5A bands such as SFA and Friendswood (tell me if I'm wrong about class, I'm just going with my brain here and it can be wrong) Anyways, y'all get it. I want some more Houston representation

Is there any nice soul that is willing to give me their FloMarching info? Or if there's a way to do a free trial or literally anything. Had someone earlier show me a free stream and it's just not working at all and $12 is a lot for me. Hate to be this person.

Congrats to all 6 of our Texas bands that made finals with 4 out of 6 in the top half! Amazing job to our Class AAA Champion with a sweep, Leander and our Class AAAA Champion also with a sweep. I can't remember who it was that said it but the HornRank forums with non-Texans are definitely talking about Vandy not having a color guard. Times are changing and it's almost amusing seeing them debate it out over there. Would love to watch the stream but I sadly don't have FloSports (thanks to the fact that I'm a broke college student.) So guess I'll remain on the forums and other media. Bring home the Eagle, Texas!!!

Can't stress enough how much I'm rooting for TWHS. At the beginning of the season, I thought TWHS band was going downhill and boy did they prove me wrong. It's now easily my favorite show of the 2019 season and even maybe my favorite high school marching show I've seen that might be really hard to top. Of course I'm rooting for #TeamTexas in general, hoping someone takes down the beast that is Carmel, but if I had to choose, it'll be TWHS. Good luck to them in prelims and to all the other bands participating in Nationals. (#TeamTexas, bring home the Eagle)

Still don't know if I'm going or not. Would love to go to support as an alumni (Oak Ridge) and also see bands that have improved. Still in shock Seven Lakes didn't make finals at BOA Houston because they were always right with Oak Ridge, JET and Brazoswood, but it shows that bands are constantly improving and if you don't keep up with the momentum, you'll be left in the dust. I've also been wanting to see CTJ all season and see their Lion King show. Will LOVE to see #TeamTexas and the 6. Gotta say, I am swooned by TWHS show this year. I'll be honest, I didn't like it when I saw it at the game between Oak Ridge, but then I was on board second I saw it at BOA Houston then the exhibition for Lone Star preview. Definitely rooting for the Highlanders. I also just want to see the "bloodbath" bands, aka 14th-30th. Those rankings right outside of finals are always on top of each other. Would also love to see the out-of-state bands or the honorary Texas bands considering I don't really know about bands that aren't in Texas or GN consistent finalists. If not, will definitely try to catch FloMarching. Good luck.

Anyone have the finals schedule yet?

I haven't seen all the bands there yet but with the ones I have seen, I think the ones going to finals will be (not in particular order and I haven't seen all programs, this is an assumption based on past programs if I haven't seen a 2019 program) Oak Ridge, JET, Brazoswood, Spring, Cy-Fair, Clements, Bridgeland, Westfield and not sure about the last two spots. Again, hard considering I haven't seen all programs but I'll try to update on the bands as they go this weekend.

Being an alumni, my bias is out there but I really hope Oak Ridge surprises us. They got some pretty challenging drill they need to perfect and they definitely need to work on dynamics and music detailing. I hope they got the rest of their flags and the dress for the solo dancer. After Friendswood, I'm really rooting for Clear Brook. They are definitely a favorite for this season for me. Heard talk about Seven Lakes and people hoping they beat The Woodlands. No offense to any Woodlands people, the show is amazing this year like always, but it'll be pretty cool to see Seven Lakes beat a Houston giant.

Pearland is a 6A. They won an award I just can't remember what.

Loved Pearland's performance. Oak Ridge and JET are definitely right behind them though.

Pretty sure Oak Ridge is not attending finals due to the fact that their homecoming dance is the same day. They'll just perform at prelims.

Yes we did. We learned an entirely different marching technique that everyone picked up on quickly so we could put all of our focus on the show

Being a member from Oak Ridge, Friendswood didn't have the props because of the rain. We also had our clinicians come this week to help clean up the show musically and visually. Happy y'all enjoyed our show.
