What is the record score?

A lot of time is spent discussing the finals and bubble bands at SA (rightfully so). Any thoughts on who will be in the 20-40 or is just too difficult to predict? The great discussions invariably leave out bands that do need attention. Lake Travis, Westwood, Seven Lakes, etc

Anyone have a recap for this one?

Spot on analysis there. Take visual to the next level or two and Brandeis is securely in the mix and puts more pressure on others

Brandeis finished ahead of Leander. I will probably never type that sentence again. But congrats on this night. Very well done

How did the first half of finals look?

Doesn’t matter too much really, but Brandeis did finish ahead of Dripping Sorings at Austin. Clearly a lot can change in 2 weeks, but Brandeis could bump up to 9th or 10th

Brandeis will challenge Lake Travis when they up the level of difficulty and then execute on it. Until then or until some other band does the same, this one is written in ink

Reagan with a 10 minute complete show by sept 27. Very impressive

Both bands did as of last year

Somewhere between 8 and 12 and not very close to 7 would be my guess. I would suspect they will be in the Weiss, Hendrickson, dripping Springs group

If 4 go to state, it will no doubt be the same 4 as always

It will be a rebuilding year for Brandeis for sure. New director, band numbers down.

The director at Brandeis is leaving at the end of May. It will informative about which direction NISD wants to go. Getting an assistant from another top program would show the district is serious about continuing to improve

Congrats to Brandeis on winning the scholastic A today. Woo hoo!
