Haha I can't imagine not playing for that long in a show. I think you could definitely use silent marching (my vote would be at the end, maybe the beginning too), but I don't think 4'33" would be the best idea...

Summer And being an upperclassman next semester.

'06 was my last state year with Leander. We were first alternate, and even in '04 we were second alternate to state. I don't march with them anymore but I'd really love to see them make it to state after so many close calls...

Leander is also getting new uniforms, but alas I have no pictures of them...

Leander has an interesting draw in finals again this year. Not in the first couple like usual, but right in between Marcus and Bell.

I cannot wait to see finals tonight. With as stacked as this competition is, all the finalist bands have to have amazing, unforgettable shows!

I was impressed with what I saw yesterday. Dripping Springs, Leander and Connally (top 3) are looking especially good for this early in the season.

I have soooo many unfinished pieces for the same reason. However I'm taking composition lessons this semester so I'm hoping to actually finish some.
