TTAF: Me falling off a skimboard and injuring my thumb(s). I now have a thumb that sticks irregularly out of my hand and is simultaneously black, brown, purple, blue, green, red, and yellow (and I'm not exaggerating). TTAF2: Everyone waiting for my thumb to heal so i can audition and band placements can be posted...

we "celebrate," which is basically pushups for mental mistakes. We run 2-3 laps before practice, and more if you're late. We also do corpral punishment by standing at attention for long lengths of time...

We dont do anything as of right now, but im thinking i might make my section freshman drink my reed water...

DMs are the only people who try out at Leander. Everything else is by application, although I dont know if Pres/V. Pres have to give a speech...maybe. So has anyone else had auditions yet/found out who made it?

Last two years they've announced it at the banquet, but this year they decided they wanted us to help with picking leaders, so they held the auditions pretty early...

Top band Leander got Straight 1's on stage and 112 in Sightreading. I thought the sightreading piece was easy, but that's probably cause I didn't have many hard rythms to speak of...

Not taking it till June 2 or whatever. Too many IB/AP exams in May to prepare. Physics IB, Spanish IB, Statistics AP, English AP... Hopefully I don't continue my pattern of dropping each time like with my PSAT scores...
